Camp Opportunity Awarded Grant from Matthews Children’s Foundation
Camp Opportunity is proud to announce that we have once again been selected as a recipient of a $1,000 grant from the Matthews Children’s Foundation, generously sponsored by Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens. This grant supports our mission of providing a safe, nurturing summer camp experience and year-round programming for children who have experienced abuse and neglect.
Thanks to this continued support, Camp Opportunity can offer life-changing experiences that foster resilience, self-worth, and social-emotional growth. The funds help us ensure that campers have the materials, activities, and resources they need to thrive in a supportive, inclusive environment.
Trish Woodward, Executive Director of Camp Opportunity, and Mitch Rose, General Manager of Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, celebrate the $1,000 grant from the Matthews Children’s Foundation, supporting transformative experiences for children at Camp Opportunity.
We are deeply grateful to the Matthews Children’s Foundation and Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens for their partnership and commitment to the well-being of children in our community. This ongoing support allows us to continue transforming lives, one camper at a time.
